DataTreasury Suit Stayed For Patent Re-Examination

Law360 (September 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge agreed on Monday to stay an ongoing patent suit between DataTreasury Corp. and banks and financial institutions until the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office finishes its re-examination of several check-imaging patents.

Judge David Folsom of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas granted the unopposed motion, which will officially halt the case in regard to four patents, called the Huntington patents, asserted by check-imaging company DataTreasury.
