Plaintiffs Seek More Info In Enviga Case

Law360, New York (September 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Coca-Cola Co. is trying to control the flow of information in a lawsuit that accuses it of fraudulently claiming that its Enviga green tea soft drink burns more calories than it contains, plaintiffs' lawyers alleged Monday.

In a letter to Magistrate Judge Joel Schneider of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the lawyers accused Coca-Cola of not producing internal correspondence regarding the effects of Enviga on weight loss, the consumer research it conducted,and its marketing campaign.
