Plan For Taller LA Buildings Draws Legal Threats

Law360, New York (June 19, 2012, 10:25 PM EDT) -- Critics of a community plan that will allow the construction of taller buildings in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Hollywood reportedly threatened to sue the city Tuesday, claiming it had not conducted an adequate environmental review of the plan.

Following the 13-0-2 city council vote that altered the area’s zoning guidelines to allow the plan’s enactment, opponents vowed to take the matter to court, the Los Angeles Times reported.
