Calpine Disclosure Triggers More Objections

Law360 (September 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The official committee of equity holders has voiced opposition to Calpine's recent disclosure statement, questioning the energy company's ability to emerge from Chapter 11 under the proposed plan.

On Monday, the equity holders filed their formal protest in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, marking the latest in a series of objections to Calpine's proposal.
