Toshiba Denies Ties To LCD Price-Fixing Plot

Law360, New York (June 20, 2012, 5:23 PM EDT) -- Toshiba Corp. told a California federal court Wednesday that a direct-purchaser class has not presented enough evidence to back claims that the company participated in a seven-year conspiracy to fix prices on liquid crystal display screens.

The company said the direct purchasers had insufficient evidence to tie Toshiba to the crystal meetings or to suggest that the company had participated in the cartel at all.
