Thermage, Syneron Settle Patent Litigation Over Cosmetic Skin Treatments

Law360, New York (June 6, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Medical device makers Thermage and Syneron have settled their patent battle over ways of tightening and treating skin using light and radio waves.

In the settlement, the two companies gave each other non-exclusive, paid-up licenses for those patents and other, related patents. Syneron also paid Thermage a one-time sum, but the companies did not disclose the amount.
