CIT Affirms Antidumping Order On Thai Plastic Bags

Law360, New York (June 25, 2012, 7:03 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of International Trade has upheld an antidumping duty order on plastic bags from Thailand, according to an opinion made public Monday.

Chief CIT Judge Donald C. Pogue found in favor of the U.S. Department of Commerce's fifth administrative review of an antidumping order on plastic bags imported from Thailand, ruling against challenges by Thai Plastic Bags Industries Co. Ltd.

The judge did, however, grant remand on two issues raised by TPBI — Commerce's use of zeroing throughout the review, and a cost adjustment...
