Kaiser Slams Relator In Medicare Advantage FCA Suit

Law360, New York (June 27, 2012, 1:43 PM EDT) -- Kaiser Foundation Health Plan Inc., one of the nation's largest HMO operators, asked a California federal judge Tuesday to halt a former employee's False Claims Act lawsuit accusing it of reaping excessive profits under Medicare Advantage contracts, saying the plaintiff doesn’t understand the law.
