Judge Tosses Medicare Fraud Suit Against Amedisys

Law360, New York (July 2, 2012, 6:11 PM EDT) -- A Louisiana federal judge on Thursday granted home health care provider Amedisys Inc.'s motion to dismiss a consolidated class action alleging it and several executives improperly inflated Medicare reimbursements, saying the plaintiffs didn't make a strong case about the purported fraud.
