Charter Cities Not Bound To Prevailing Wages: Calif. High Court

Law360, New York (July 2, 2012, 8:36 PM EDT) -- The California Supreme Court on Monday found the wages of contracted workers on public works projects are a municipal matter that charter cities govern and stressed that the state prevailing wage laws do not apply to charter cities unless the wages pose a statewide concern.
