Parmalat Units Take Claims To Appeals Court

Law360, New York (September 24, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Two insolvent Parmalat SpA subsidiaries have taken their claims against six of the Italian dairy company's ex-financial partners to an appeals court, seeking to overturn a district court ruling that tossed their complaints.

The trustees for Parmalat USA Corp. and Farmland Dairies LLC, United States-based branches that tumbled into bankruptcy along with Parmalat, on Friday announced that they would be lodging an appeal with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
