Starbucks Burned Over Class Action Bid

Law360, New York (September 24, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Florida district judge has given the go-ahead for a case over Starbucks Corp.'s alleged refusal to pay overtime wages to its managers to proceed as a class action.

On Friday, U.S. District Judge Kenneth A. Marra granted class action status to the suit brought by an estimated 900 store managers.
