Southwest Plaintiffs Ask 9th Circ. For Clarity On Merger Suits

Law360, New York (July 6, 2012, 3:55 PM EDT) -- Consumers trying to revive their lawsuit challenging Southwest Airlines Co.'s $1.4 billion merger with AirTran Holdings Inc. urged the Ninth Circuit on Thursday to use the case as a chance to disentangle conflicting case law about when plaintiffs can sue to block transactions.
