Insurance Broker Willis Sues Lawyer Over Liability

Law360, New York (September 24, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Insurance broker Willis North America Inc. has fought back against a suit filed against it by former client New Jersey Natural Gas Co., by filing a third party suit against the energy company’s former counsel.

In a third party complaint filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, Willis claimed that Joseph McGroarty and his law firms, including Fitzgerald and McGroarty PA, are responsible for any liability that NJNG has asserted against Willis.
