DSE Seeks Sanctions In Defective Grenade FCA Suit

Law360, New York (July 9, 2012, 12:35 PM EDT) -- Defense contractor DSE Inc. asked a Florida federal judge on Friday to sanction a former employee who filed a False Claims Act suit alleging the company provided defective grenades to the U.S. military, saying he has refused to turn over requested information.

The company said it had been asking relator John D. King for his personal notes and other nonprivileged communications about the case, proof of his educational and professional background, tax information, and results of his Freedom of Information Act requests since 2011.
