Carnival Sued Again Over Costa Concordia Wreck

Law360, Los Angeles (July 11, 2012, 7:15 PM EDT) -- Carnival Corp.'s legal woes over the capsizing of the Costa Concordia continued this week as cruise ship passengers hit the company and the ship's architect with a class action in Florida seeking more than $600 million in damages, attorneys said Wednesday.

Carnival is accused of concealing defects in its ships and delaying notification of life-threatening situations to passengers on board its cruise ships. The lawsuit seeks at least $2 million in compensation for 40 to 100 passengers on board the ship and $590 million in punitive...
