Pilgrim's Pride Accuses Firm Of Foul Play In FLSA Suit

Law360 (September 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Pilgrim's Pride Corp. has accused one law firm representing several plaintiffs in wage-and-hour litigation against the poultry-packing giant of actively recruiting Pilgrim's Pride employees to join the putative class, thereby violating various states' Rules of Professional Conduct.

Pilgrim's Pride filed a motion to prohibit such conduct on Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas, setting the stage for a future attempt at sanctions.
