Tenet Can't Shake FCA Suit Over Referral Kickback Plot

Law360, New York (July 12, 2012, 6:54 PM EDT) -- A Florida federal judge on Thursday denied Tenet Healthcare Corp.'s bid to toss a False Claims Act suit accusing the hospital operator of defrauding state and federal medical programs by regularly taking patient referrals from doctors who lease space from Tenet at below-market rates.
