Fund Managers Put Up $32M To End Rothstein Trustee Claims

Law360, New York (July 12, 2012, 11:16 PM EDT) -- A group of hedge fund managers on Thursday agreed to pay $32 million to settle their part in two adversary proceedings brought by Rothstein Rosenfeldt Adler PA's Chapter 11 trustee seeking to recover millions in allegedly fraudulent transfers that the funds received from RRA.

In a motion to approve the settlement filed in Florida federal court, trustee Herbert Stettin said the fund managers were some of the defendants in two adversary proceedings that he had brought to recover more than $420 million in transfers from RRA...
