Nationwide Mutual Insurance Faces Collective Action

Law360, New York (September 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. has been slapped with a collective and class action lawsuit alleging the company broke the law by misclassifying its special investigators as exempt from state and federal wage and hour laws, and denying them benefits including overtime pay and meal and rest breaks.
