Suit Against Isolagen, Underwriters Moves Forward

Law360, New York (September 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A proposed class action lawsuit alleging securities fraud on the part of biotechnology company Isolagen Inc. and 11 current and former directors will move forward with all claims intact, a judge ruled Wednesday.

In an order filed with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Judge Ronald L. Buckwalter denied Isolagen and its executives' motion to dismiss. At the same time, Buckwalter also denied a motion to dismiss filed by CIBC World Markets Corp., Canaccord Adams Inc., UBS Securities LLC and Citigroup Global...
