Cellini's Sentencing Pushed Back Amid Health Issues

Law360, Chicago (July 18, 2012, 1:57 PM EDT) -- An Illinois federal judge on Wednesday pushed back the sentencing of real estate investor and political insider William Cellini, who has recently experienced health problems, to Oct. 4 for his bribery and extortion-related convictions.

U.S. District Judge James Zagel granted the sealed motion to continue the sentencing that Cellini, 77, filed last week. Dan Webb, the chairman of Winston & Strawn LLP and one of Cellini's attorneys, said at the hearing that letters from doctors had been attached to that motion, and the judge referred generally...
