Twitter Fights Order To Hand Over OWS Tweets

Law360, New York (July 19, 2012, 9:19 PM EDT) -- Twitter Inc. will appeal a New York state judge's ruling that the social media company must turn over tweets by an arrested Occupy Wall Street protester, it said Thursday.

Twitter filed a notice in New York Criminal Court that it would appeal Judge Matthew A. Sciarrino Jr.'s finding that the district attorney's subpoena request for protester Malcolm Harris' tweets did not violate the Fourth Amendment.
