DC Circ. Revives Egyptian-Born FBI Agent's Bias Suit

Law360, New York (July 23, 2012, 2:20 PM EDT) -- The D.C. Circuit on Friday revived an FBI agent's suit alleging the agency discriminated against him after the 9/11 terrorist attacks because of his Egyptian-American heritage by transferring him to a job he was dramatically overqualified for.

In a unanimous, published opinion, the appeals court reversed a lower court's decision to award summary judgment to the FBI on Bassem Youssef's discrimination claim.
