Anthem Blue Cross Defeats Billing Policy Class Action

Law360, Los Angeles (July 25, 2012, 4:18 PM EDT) -- A California judge on Wednesday jettisoned a putative class action accusing Anthem Blue Cross of breaching customer contracts and violating state laws by charging unlawful fees and canceling thousands of policies, saying the Golden State insurer was allowed to modify its billing practices.
