Enron Plaintiffs Want Lerach Off The Docket

Law360, New York (October 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Plaintiffs in the multidistrict securities litigation over the implosion of Enron Corp. have asked a federal judge to withdraw former powerhouse plaintiff's lawyer William Lerach as attorney of record after he left his firm and pleaded guilty to conspiring to obstruct justice.

In a motion and proposed order filed Monday, plaintiffs led by The Regents of the University of California said their motion includes removing Lerach from the docket and any service lists, “as Mr. Lerach has resigned from Coughlin Stoia Geller Rudman & Robbins LLP,...
