Law360, New York (July 31, 2012, 6:33 PM EDT) -- Seiko Epson Corp. said Tuesday that its subsidiary Epson Imaging Devices Corp. has settled for $150 million antitrust claims brought by Motorola Mobility LLC, ending its involvement in Motorola's multidistrict litigation over alleged price-fixing in the liquid crystal display market.
As a result of the settlement with Google Inc.'s Motorola, Epson will report an “extraordinary loss” for the first quarter of the current fiscal year, the company said in a statement.
