Avison Young Poached Grubb & Ellis Brokers, Suit Says

Law360, New York (August 3, 2012, 1:58 PM EDT) -- BGC Partners Inc., which recently acquired bankrupt real estate brokerage Grubb & Ellis Co., sued Canadian rival Avison Young Inc. in New York state court Wednesday, alleging it engaged in an illegal scheme to poach Grubb employees and steal its business.
