Calif. Court Says Landlord Owes Axis Insurance $2.4M

Law360, New York (August 6, 2012, 3:44 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court on Friday upheld a lower court’s ruling that Axis Surplus Insurance Co. was entitled to recover $2.4 million in defense costs from a landlord who faced up to $30 million in claims over living conditions at an apartment building she co-owned.
