Insurance Agents Win Class Certification Bid

Law360, New York (October 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge in Chicago has granted certification to a class of insurance agents who allege that Bankers Life & Casualty Co. violated California law by misclassifying them as independent contractors rather than employees.
