ITC Reins In Google's Role In Nokia-HTC Infringement Case

Law360, New York (August 8, 2012, 4:06 PM EDT) -- Google Inc. can participate in Nokia Corp.'s suit accusing HTC Corp. of importing mobile phones and tablet computers that infringe its patents, but the company cannot serve as a defendant in the action even though its operating system runs on HTC devices, the U.S. International Trade Commission ruled Friday.
