RE Fund Says Pension Adviser Tried To Derail $109M Apt. Deal

Law360, New York (August 9, 2012, 6:14 PM EDT) -- A fund managed by property investor Trade Street Capital LLC on Wednesday sued a California-based pension investment adviser in Florida federal court, accusing the asset manager of trying to thwart Trade Street's plan to sell a portfolio of apartment complexes and defaming its general partner.

Trade Street says Peter Aylward, who managed investments in Trade Street for several pension funds, tried to derail Trade Street's plans to sell interests in built and planned apartment complexes worth $109 million to Feldman Mall Properties Inc.
