Defense Cos. Sue Over Air Force Contract's End

Law360, New York (August 10, 2012, 6:48 PM EDT) -- A pair of defense contractors slapped the U.S. government with a suit Thursday for suddenly ending their contract to provide services to an Alaskan Air Force base and putting their 70 employees out of work.

Inuit Services Inc. and JK Hill and Associates Inc., which formed a joint venture called Elmendorf Support Services, claim the Air Force canceled their contract to provide services to the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson Air Force base in Alaska in June without notice or cause.
