Telus Says $3.4B Bell-Astral Merger Is Bad For Consumers

Law360, New York (August 14, 2012, 7:10 PM EDT) -- Canadian telecommunications company Telus said Tuesday that it has lodged a grievance with the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission concerning BCE Inc.’s proposed CA$3.38 billion (US$3.4 billion) acquisition of Astral Media Inc., saying consumers will suffer under the concentration of market power.
