Kodak Seeks OK To Redo Supply Deals With Movie Studios

Law360, New York (August 15, 2012, 6:13 PM EDT) -- Seeking to maintain its place in the motion picture industry, Eastman Kodak Co. asked a New York bankruptcy judge Tuesday to let it out of film supply agreements with four movie studios so it can forge new, more favorable agreements.

With the support of its official committee of unsecured creditors, Kodak asked U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Allan L. Gropper to let it scuttle its current agreements with Walt Disney Pictures, Warner Bros.
