Law360, New York (August 16, 2012, 7:32 PM EDT) -- Ford Motor Co. and Exxon Mobil Corp. aren’t liable for the mesothelioma of a woman allegedly exposed to asbestos during visits to her husband’s automobile service job, a California jury found Tuesday, rejecting a rare bid to extend liability for bystanders’ asbestos injuries that could have sparked a flood of new claims.
