Fed. Circ. Denies Fees For SEC Atty Fired Over Cuban Emails

Law360, New York (August 22, 2012, 3:56 PM EDT) -- A U.S. Security and Exchange Commission trial attorney who was removed over a series of inappropriate emails to Mark Cuban and other agency targets cannot recover $63,000 in attorneys' fees from his successful appeal of the ouster, the Federal Circuit ruled Wednesday.
