Judge Pares Hidden Fee Suit Against First Data, Wells Fargo

Law360, Los Angeles (August 22, 2012, 9:22 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Wednesday trimmed a proposed class action accusing Wells Fargo Bank NA and First Data Merchant Services Corp. of violating consumer protection law by charging businesses unauthorized transaction fees, ruling the charges don't directly affect end customers.
