After CityTime Scandal, SAIC Consents To Gov't Monitoring

Law360, New York (August 24, 2012, 8:28 PM EDT) -- After signing a $500 million settlement with federal prosecutors over a New York City payroll contract tainted by bribery and kickbacks, contractor Science Applications International Corp. has agreed to extra monitoring by the U.S. Army to avoid being suspended from receiving federal contracts.

The new five-year agreement, which SAIC revealed in a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, is meant to reassure the federal government that SAIC is a responsible company that does not need to be suspended or debarred from future contract...
