Burbank Wal-Mart's Construction Blocked Pending CEQA Suit

Law360, New York (August 27, 2012, 3:41 PM EDT) -- Wal-Mart Stores Inc. was temporarily blocked Thursday from developing a 153,000-square-foot store in Burbank, Calif., after locals lodged a California state court suit alleging the project should not have been awarded permits without further review under the California Environmental Quality Act.
