Vivint Auto-Dials Cellphones Without Permission, Suit Claims

Law360, Chicago (August 28, 2012, 7:22 PM EDT) -- Home automation company Vivint Inc. is facing a putative class action in Illinois court alleging it auto-dials peoples' cellphones without their consent in violation of their privacy rights, according to the complaint made available Monday.
