MetLife Lands Suburban SF Office Towers In Record Deal

Law360, New York (August 29, 2012, 6:41 PM EDT) -- MetLife Inc.'s real estate arm added 378,000 square feet to its greater San Francisco portfolio with the purchase of Treat Towers in Walnut Creek, marking what one broker told Law360 on Wednesday was the biggest trade the East Bay suburb has seen in the last five years.

"It's a great sign for market recovery," Steven Golubchik, a managing director with Holliday Fenoglio Fowler LP, which represented the joint venture selling the towers, told Law360.
