Apple Seeks Boost To Samsung's $1B Patent 'Wrist Slap'

Law360, San Francisco (December 6, 2012, 11:15 PM EST) -- Apple Inc. urged a California federal judge Thursday to permanently ban Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.’s patent-infringing gadgets and add $535 million to the damages its smartphone rival must pay, calling the $1.05 billion awarded by a jury in August “a slap on the wrist.”
