San Antonio Can't Dodge Suits Over Water Services Deal

Law360, Dallas (August 29, 2012, 7:13 PM EDT) -- A Texas appeals court on Wednesday denied San Antonio's bid to dismiss a pair of lawsuits brought by the developers of a 1,700-acre subdivision that sought to enforce permits for the city to provide water and sewer services, ruling that the city couldn't assert sovereign immunity to avoid the deal.
