9th Circ. Says HSBC, Best Buy Didn't Deceive Cardholder

Law360, New York (August 31, 2012, 7:34 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit on Friday upheld the dismissal of a putative class action accusing HSBC Finance Corp. and Best Buy Co. Inc. of deceptively failing to disclose a credit card annual fee for a credit card, saying the companies' card disclosures were adequate because they were targeted towards reasonable consumers.
