$17M Indian Substance Abuse Grant Was Misused, Feds Say

Law360, New York (August 31, 2012, 6:01 PM EDT) -- The federal government filed a beefed-up complaint Friday against a California nonprofit that works on tribal health care issues, accusing it of inflating its number of clients to get a $17 million alcohol and drug abuse treatment grant and of misusing the funds once it got them.
