Dallas Likely To Approve Plans For $225M Cancer Center

Law360, Dallas (September 4, 2012, 7:16 PM EDT) -- Dallas' planning commission is expected to approve plans for a $225 million, 100,000-square-foot cancer treatment center Thursday that will be operated by The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

Dallas city staff have recommended the city planning commission approve at a Thursday meeting subdividing a 4.6-acre tract of land near the existing UT Southwestern campus, which San Diego-based Advanced Particle Therapy plans to buy from Market Center Land LP to build the center, which in partnership with the university will specialize in an aggressive radiation treatment...
