WilmerHale Lands FINRA Ace For Securities Team

Law360, New York (September 4, 2012, 9:02 PM EDT) -- One of Wall Street's top fraud watchdogs, a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority executive who led the agency through the Madoff scandal and oversaw new initiatives like the whistleblower program, will quit FINRA to join WilmerHale's Washington office next month, the firm announced Tuesday.

FINRA Vice Chairman Stephen Luparello will reinforce WilmerHale's broker-dealer and securities litigation and enforcement practices, according to a statement from the firm.
