Debtors Win Class Cert. In Leucadia Collections Suit

Law360, New York (September 4, 2012, 9:44 PM EDT) -- A judge on Tuesday certified a class of New York City residents accusing a Leucadia National Corp. debt buying affiliate, law firm Mel S. Harris and Associates LLC and process server Samserv Inc. of engaging in a fraudulent scheme to get default judgments against debtors.
