3M, Avery Dennison Stick To Label Deal Despite DOJ Threat

Law360, New York (September 5, 2012, 10:55 AM EDT) -- A day after the U.S. Department of Justice said office supply giant 3M Co. scrapped its $550 million buy of rival Avery Dennison Corp.’s sticky note business over antitrust concerns, the companies on Wednesday vowed to clear regulatory obstacles and finalize the deal.
